Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Co. has added two new models to its line of mini notebook PCs.
The HP Mini 210 (shown here, in Ocean Drive finish) features built-in Wi-Fi wireless networking, a 10.1-inch HD display, Webcam, microphone and a nearly-full-size keyboard. It's less than an inch thick, and weighs as little as 3.1 pounds, depending on configuration. Processor options include the new dual-core Intel Atom N550. The HP Mini 210 is available in three HP Imprint finishes: charcoal, crimson red and ocean drive, at prices starting at $380 MSRP. It's available in Canada exclusively through Best Buy and Future Shop.
The HP Mini 5103 has a brushed espresso-coloured finish and weighs as little as 2.64 pounds, depending on configuration. Its 10.1-inch LED-illuminated display is available in HD and WSVGA resolutions, an in standard or touchscreen versions. The touchscreen model supports multi-touch gestures, finger taps and swipes. Purchasers can choose either a four- or six-cell battery, the latter offering up to 10.25 hours runtime per charge. It's available with the dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor. Canadian MSRPs start at $599.
