Kodak Adds Top-of-the-Line Wireless All-in-One

Kodak says its new ESP 9250 all-in-one inkjet printer offers the lowest ink-replacement costs in the industry, while delivering the best print permanence of any printer in its class.

When used with Kodak inks and photo papers, prints dry instantly, don't smear or smudge, and are water-resistant, Kodak says. Kodak's pigment-ink system has achieved a Wilhelm Imaging Research permanence rating of 120 years for prints stored in albums or glass frames, and 100 years unprotected.

Like Kodak's other home inkjet printers, the ESP 9250 features a bar-code system that detects codes on Kodak photo papers, and automatically optimizes ink output for the paper being used. It has dual paper trays, a 100-sheet tray for standard paper and a 40-sheet tray for photo paper, and can automatically perform double-sided duplex printing.

Priced at $250, the ESP 9250 also has faxing, copying and scanning capabilities, along with built-in memory-card slots and 802.11 b/g/n wireless networking. For faxing and copying, it has a 30-page automatic document feeder. Users can print wirelessly from a Windows or Mac PC, or from an Apple iPhone, iPod touch or iPad running the Kodak Pic Flick app.
