A/V mount and furniture company Omnimount has redesigned its commercial Website to boast new feature and corporate promotions for business customers.
The Website, www.omnimountpro.com, is better organized, says the firm, including a "breadcrumb trail" that helps users identify where they are within the site. Each product page includes in-depth content and images, including a list of tools needed for the installation, recommended accessories, product specifications and downloads.
A MountFinder feature lets the user easily find all mounts that are compatible with a specific flat panel, with content updated "continuously" to accommodate new display models. There are also side-by-side product comparisons for mounts; and photos that highlight key features of each item that make a difference in the installation. A dealer resource centre, supported by Box.net, is updated in real-time, and affords the ability to file and share images.
Additionally, a live chat feature has been added so that customers can talk to customer service representatives during regular business hours. The "where to buy" section is also regularly updated to include the best and closest spot where an installer can purchase the products.
Omnimount says it will soon make .dwg and .dxf files available for download on each product page so that architects and designers can easily specify Omnimount products as part of a package design. These files are already available in the dealer resource centre.
"Our goal for this redesign was to create a Website that integrators can quickly and easily navigate, packed with a wealth of product information," says Hal Truax, Director of the Commercial Division for OmniMount. "Customer service has always been a top priority for OmniMount, and this new site is just a part of that ongoing commitment."
Every page of the Website also links back to Omnimount's consumer division, plus dealer training resources, and the company's various social media accounts. (Omnimount is very active on the social media front.)
