The Canadian real estate search Website Zoocasa will be made more easily searchable through through a new application on the Yahoo! Canada homepage.

Zoocasa, a portfolio company of the Rogers Ventures Group (a division of Rogers Communications Inc.), has teamed up with Yahoo! to more easily allow Canadians to search for homes, research local neighbourhoods, and even receive updates about properties that fit previously determined parameters.

The application features real-time listing information and mapping technology, and allows Website visitors to personalize searches that take into consideration things like community, demographics, and lifestyle. Interested home buyers can look for properties by region, city, price range, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, and property type.

"The Zoocasa application is an important addition to Yahoo! Canada's current line-up of online apps that includes everything from Flickr and Facebook, to links to our Sports and Finance channels," says Laurie Maw, Director, Business Development for Yahoo! Canada.

"We are excited to work with Yahoo! Canada to launch a Zoocasa.com app that gives Canadians another great way to streamline their house-hunting efforts," adds Butch Langlois, President of Zoocasa. The Zoocasa application is accessible via the left-hand menu on the www.yahoo.ca homepage. The Zoocasa Website itself is accessible at www.zoocasa.com.
