Huawei Canada has confirmed that its Ascend P1 smartphone is now available through WIND Mobile. The device features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and runs the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS.
The Ascend has a 4.3" Super AMOLED qHD (960 x 540) display with touch functionality, 1GB RAM, 4GB of flash memory, a microSD card slot for additional memory (up to 32GB), plus Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity. There's also a rear-facing 8MP BSI camera with autofocus and a 1.3MP front-facing camera.
In terms of size, the Ascend is just 7.69mm thick and weighs close to 110 grams, with battery attached.
Huawei's Ascend P1 is available at WIND Mobile locations across Canada for $49 on WINDtab.
