Samsung Canada has confirmed the availability of its Galaxy Tab 2 in the Canadian marketplace. The Tab 2 has a 1.0 GHz dual-core processor and runs the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS.
Seven-inch (8GB) and 10.1" (16GB) models have been released, both of which feature WXGA displays built with Corning Gorilla Glass.
Other features include a 3MP front-facing camera that's capable of Full HD (1080p) video recording, a microSD slot that can support an additional 32GB of storage, plus 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity.
The Tab 2 has AllShare Play, which allows an individual to play or live-stream multimedia content from their PC and/or Samsung Smart device, to his tablet. The user can also access Samsung's Reader, Music, Game and Video Hubs through it.
Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 is available now through select retailers, starting at $249 for the 7" model and $349 for the 10.1" model.
