SanDisk Corporation has announced a suite of its fastest, thinnest and highest-capacity USB flash drives, with speeds up to 190MB per second.
The collection includes the SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0-enabled flash drive for users to transfer, store and share large digital content files. SanDisk says it can transfer small files almost instantly and larger files like a 3GB file in 20 seconds or a 40GB file in four minutes. It has a lifetime warranty and is available in 16GB to 64GB capacities. It will retail from $64.99 to $159.99.
SanDisk as also unveiled three Cruzers, including the Glide USB Flash Drive, which come in 4GB to 64GB capacities for photos, videos, music and additional files.
The Glide has a two year limited warranty, and is available worldwide starting at $19.99. SanDisk claims its 128GB capacity model will be available in Q3 2012 and will be priced at $249.99.
The Cruzer Facet USB Flash Drive has a stainless-steel casing in a variety of vibrant colours and a faceted texture. It is available in 8GB to 32GB capacities ranging from $32.99-$84.99.
The Cruzer Pop USB Flash Drive has colours and patterns, as well as a unique design that conceals and protects the connector when not in use. It is available in 8GB to 32GB capacities for $32.99 to $84.99.
These products are all available worldwide.
SanDisk has also announced the release of its SanDisk Extreme Pro microSDHC UHS-I card for smartphones and tablets.
The UHS-1 card will allow mobile devices to capture full HD videos, even in 3D, as well as high-quality photos. It has up to 95MB per second read speed for transferring files. It also allows users to run multiple applications at the same time and download files quickly, using 4G LTE phones.
The card is available on the SanDisk Website in 8GB ($59.99) and 16GB ($99.99) capacities. It is compatible with any microSDHC-slotted device.
