Sharp Electronics of Canada Ltd. is bringing back its "Hit a Home Run with Sharp" contest, starting today. Baseball fans can enter the contest at www.hitahomerunwithsharp.ca, or on Sharp Canada's Facebook age at www.facebook.com/sharpcanada.
Beginning August 13 and continuing to the rest of the season, a contest entrant will receive a Sharp Slim Micro Audio System whenever a Blue Jays player hits a home run. If the dinger occurs in the fourth inning, the winner gets a Sharp home-theatre system, consisting of a 42-inch Aquos LCD TV, Aquos Blu-ray Disc player and Sharp Audio soundbar with subwoofer. For any grand slam by a Toronto player, the prize is an Sharp Aquos 80-inch LCD TV with LED backlighting and Quattron four-colour technology.
The 2012 edition of the contest also features weekly prizes, awarded from August 13 to September 2012, including audio systems and Plasmacluster Ion air purifiers. At the end of the season, Sharp Canada will award a grand prize: a Sharp Aquos 90-inch television, which is the world's largest LED TV.
