UK Women Post Unflattering Photos of Other Females Online, On Purpose

According to a survey conducted by photo merchandise site Mymemory.com, some women in the UK post unkind photos of female acquaintances online, out of revenge and dislike.

The survey notes that 45% of those polled had purposefully posted a photo of a friend that was wearing an unflattering outfit. Meanwhile, 41% admitted to posting images online of female friends without make up on, while 24% posted and tagged an unappealing bikini shot of another woman.

What's interesting here is that these women knew that the other ladies would be bothered by such images emerging online. So what was the motivation?

Fifty-one per cent of women said they committed "photo sabotage" on another woman because the two of them weren't really friends, while 32% sought revenge for having poor photos of them posted online ahead of time.

To be fair, these results only represent the opinions of 1,512 women aged 18 and over.
