This week at the Philips Holidays in July product showcase, Marketnews received a lesson in oral hygiene from the company's Senior Marketing Manager Deborah Sakala, as she demonstrated the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Toothbrush for us.
The brush head features 40% more bristles than past Sonicare electric toothbrushes. In all, there are 16 thousand diamond-shaped bristles that the company says can clean more areas of an individual's teeth.
One of this product's more unique features is its glass charger. Just sit the glass upon the small, round metallic charging station, place the brush into the glass and the charging will begin. This, of course, is an improvement over the plain white bases of previous Sonicare models that can look out of place in one's bathroom, and get dirty looking rather quickly.
For those on the go, the DiamondClean comes with a charging travel case. Once the individual places the device into the case, all he has to do is plug the case into a laptop with a USB cable and the charging commences.
Regardless of the charging method selected, the product's battery lasts upwards of three weeks between charges.
The Sonicare DiamondClean is available for $229.99 through Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs, Centre du Rasoir, Personal Edge and Bed, Bath and Beyond.
