Wang Jia of Montreal used a Canon EOS 1Ds Mk II and Canon EF 300mm f/2.8 lens to get this amazing picture of Olga Savchuk during this summer’s Rogers Cup tennis championship. As a grand-prize winner, Wang receives a Pentax K200D 10-megapixel digital SLR with sensor-shift image stabilization.

Chris Deck of Embrun, Ont. wins a Pentax K200D digital SLR and Pentax KA 18-55mm standard-zoom lens for this delightful picture of his cat Giggles peaking through some holes in the garage door. Chris captured the moment with a Canon PowerShot S1 digital camera.

As a runner-up, Susan Cosgrove of Toronto receives a Pentax Optio W60 waterproof digicam, with advanced face-recognition autofocus. Susan took this delightful picture with a Nikon D40 digital SLR and Nikon 55-200mm VR telephoto zoom, then converted the image to black-and-white to make the shadow stand out.

Madeleine Guenette of Nelson, B.C. used a Nikon D200 digital SLR and Nikkor 18-135mm zoom lens at full telephoto to capture this gorgeous photo on an early July morning from a bridge above Kootenay Lake. For her prize-winning picture, Madeleine receives a Pentax Optio W60 waterproof digicam, with 10-megapixel sensor and 5x zoom lens.
